The Clerestory Windows There are twelve clerestory windows with six identical sets (apart from some damage) on each side of the building.   As shown in the outside views the four basic types shown above are incorporated into the stonework of the church and are approximately two feet six inches or seventy six centimetres in diameter. I have no information on why we have four different styles for six openings, meaning that two are used twice.   Perhaps we could only afford four originals! In addition why they are in the order they are and why the particular ones are used twice is something we can only ponder about, unless anyone knows the real story behind this.
